Born to Slovak immigrants to Canada . I have an initial background in research biochemistry, followed by a medical degree and internship in cardiovascular surgery. A subsequent residency in psychiatry lead to an initial career in a private practice in the field. Due to tragic life circumstances, I re-awakened interest in fine art and acquired an Honours Bachelor of Fine Art Degree with disctinction at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. I completed a Master of Fine Arts degree at Bathspa University in the U.K.and returned to Canada to take courses in Art Gallery and Museum Management. I recently completed a diploma program in the Arts Management program with distinction at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. I recently completed a short term contract job as partnership assistant at Museum London in London, Ontario, Canada. I am also currently studying at the Art Academy of Canada in Toronto, improving my draughtsmanship and painting skills.
